Formed in 2022 by guitarist Mars Durham, alongside drummer Vivien Gaspar and bassist Thiago Valenti, M. FILES emerged as a force in London’s alternative rock scene. By mid-2022, they were already making waves with high-energy live shows, drawing a dedicated following that resonated with their raw intensity and strong musicianship.
 

Their debut album, A Beam of Light, delivers a striking mix of aggressive guitars, haunting melodies, and a dynamic range of emotions. Written and produced during the pandemic, the album channels feelings of claustrophobia and angst, erupting into explosive soundscapes.
